Iqraa Foundation is a non-Profit UK based organization which works for the betterment of Ethiopian and non-Ethiopian Muslims. The foundation has established departments to meet its objectives. The departments established by the foundation are education and training, relief and development, socio-cultural, women’s’, Islamic scholars and media department.

MISSION

Iqraa Foundation strives to empower Ethiopian Muslim communities in United Kingdom through religious and other trainings. It also works for the development of Ethiopian Muslims in their country of origin.

OBJECTIVE

• - Collecting and disseminating vital information regarding the social, economic and political situations of Ethiopian Muslims.

• - Supporting Ethiopian Muslims in their endeavor to lead their life the Islamic way.

• - Working to strengthen the bond between Ethiopian Muslims and all Ethiopians in the country.

• - Working to promote and protect civil rights of Ethiopian Muslims both in the UK and in their country of origin.

• - Organizing conferences and seminars, cultural meetings, publish scholarly works and engage in teaching and training.

• - Supporting the economically disadvantaged segment of the society through the foundation’s relief and development program.
